46 nations to take an interest in Defense Expo in Goa

Panaji, Mar 14: With more than 977 organizations and 46 nations enrolling for the up and coming Defense Expo booked in Goa, the Defense Ministry has said the occasion is controlling the way of consistent development.

“Defexpo India 2016, the ninth in the arrangement of biennial Land, Naval and Internal Homeland Security Systems Exhibition, will be held at Naqueri Quitol in Quepem taluka of South Goa from March 28-31, 2016,” the Ministry said on its site intended for this globally renowned worldwide occasion.

“The eighth version of Defexpo India held in February 2014 recorded an exceptional development in outside and also local organizations support over its past releases,” the Ministry said.

“An amazing 232 outside organizations from 32 nations took an interest in the show in 2014 alongside 15 nation structures with a development of 12.64 for every penny as far as space booking,” it said.

This year, on the principal day, March 28, hosts of classes including that on “Condition of Art Technology in Shipbuilding Initiative and Requirements of Indian Defense Shipyards” would be held. There will likewise be a session on “Global Cooperation in Futuristic Maritime Research and improvement” and “Propelled Technologies in Submarine Construction.”

On following day, March 29, the Industrial body Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) will hold day-long Global Investors’ Summit on Defense area.
