Mumbai, Aug 19: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a roundabout way attacked creator Shobha De while saluting P V Sindhu on winning the ladies’ badminton singles semi-finals at Olympics in Rio.

De had derided Indian competitors, saying their point was just to click selfies and return with no decoration from the brandishing celebration. The creator was reprimanded and trolled for her remarks.

Bachchan, 73, complimented Sindhu, saying when she returns he might want to click a selfie with her.

“#PVSindhu.. Aap “khaali haath” nahein, award leke wapas aa rahein hain.. Aur murmur aapke saath “selfie” nikalne chahate hain!! (You are not coming flat broke, actually, you are joining a decoration and I need to bring a selfie with you),” he composed.

In another post, Bachchan composed, “#PVSindhu… Aapne ‘bolne walon’ ki bolti bund kar di.. Karm bolta hai aur wo kabhi “kalam” ko bhi hara deta hai! BADHAI !! (You have made those individuals dazed, who talk superfluously. Diligent work talks and some of the time even annihilations a pen! Congratulations!!).”

The fanciful on-screen character then asked individuals to keep in mind the female force.

“Never at any point think little of force of female sexual orientation ! #PVSindhu you have wrecked such a large number of “naysayers” .. you are the PRIDE of INDIA!,” he tweeted.
