A 59-year-old man and his son died of rabies after being bitten by their pet dog in Andhra Pradesh last week, the police said.Â
Their dog, officials said, died two days after the incident.
Narasingrao and his son Bhargav took anti-rabies injection, but they died during the treatment at the hospital.Â
“They took treatment but could not be saved. The infection had spread to their brain and other organs,” officials said.Â
