Mumbai, Jul 21 : Filmmaker Karan Johar says his up and coming co-generation “Baar Dekho” is a film, which praises adoration and life.
Featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in lead parts, the sentimental show is helmed by debutant executive Nitya Mehra.
The producers have their hands off on the copyrights of artist Amar Arshi’s 1990s Punjabi chartbuster “Tenu Kala Chashma Jajta Ve” and will discharge a patched up form of the track on July 27.
Johar feels the melody symbolizes the celebratory state of mind of the film.
“‘Baar Dekho’ is a festival of life and affection and we thought the tune would embody that ethos in the most ideal way. It kickstarts our crusade and the trailer will be out before long,” Johar said in an announcement here.
“‘Kala Chashma 2.0’ is a gathering starter and has been the pulse of the Punjabi music scene for over 10 years… Our patched up and restored variant has improved the vitality to an inside and out various level,” the producer said.
Co-delivered by Excel Entertainment, the film is set to hit screens on September 9.
Mehra said that they focused in on the prominent track as it was immaculate to report the entry of the film’s trailer.
“Kala Chashma, or KC as I call it, is a celebratory tune. Since ‘Baar Dekho’ is a film that praises connections, we needed a slamming number to report the entry of its trailer,” she said.
The melody “Kala Chashma” has been formed and reproduced by Badshah, with vocals of Amar Arshi, Badshah and Neha Kakkar. The video has been choreographed by team Bosco-Caesar.
