Boxer’s brother gripes of electricity transformer moving
Chandigarh, Aug 13: A Haryana power division representative has been suspended after boxer Manoj Kumar’s sibling affirmed that a few people have moved a transformer from before their home in Kaithal locale, as an aftereffect of which their folks “couldn’t watch his session” in Rio Olympics.
Major Kumar, an Asian Games bronze-medallist and Commonwealth Games gold-medallist, is preparing for his pre-quarterfinal session at Rio Olympics tomorrow.
“I got the transformer introduced by asking for the past Chief Minister. Be that as it may, some unruly components of the town took away the transformer. My folks feel bugged as they didn’t get the opportunity to watch Manoj’s match,” asserted Rajesh Kumar in his letter to Haryana Sports Minister Anil Vij yesterday.
Rajesh, who is in Rio with his sibling, looked for strict activity against the “raucous components” and a power division worker for “uninstalling” the transformer from before his home at Rajound.
In his answer Vij said that he has solicited Superintendent from Police of Kaithal Sumer Partap Singh to send police faculty to their home to explore the matter.
A right hand foreman, distinguished as Satpal, who was professedly required in moving the transformer has been suspended, an Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) official said.
In the interim UHVBN Executive Engineer, P C Saini said, “We have reinstalled the transformer yesterday.”
The SP said two cops have been sent outside the place of Manoj Kamar after Vij let him know about the grumbling.
“I had sent a SHO to the boxer’s home yesterday.
Be that as it may, the family declined to cabin grumbling against anyone,” he said.
