Class 8 young lady assaulted with corrosive in Gurdaspur dist

Dera Baba Nanak (Punjab), Mar. 16: A 18-year-old kid professedly assaulted a Class 8 young lady with corrosive when she was en route back home from school on Wednesday evening here in Gurdaspur region.

The casualty maintained wounds all over, while four different young ladies going with her likewise managed minor wounds.

The Dera Baba Nanak police have enlisted a case under areas 307 (endeavor to kill), 326A (willfully bringing on intolerable hurt by unsafe weapons or means) and 354C (ambush or criminal power to lady with goal to shock her humility) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
