Court notification to jail autho on request charging risk to MLA
New Delhi, Sep 16: A promoter today guaranteed that AAP MLA Sandeep Kumar, captured on assault charges, was whipped in jail, yet the sacked priest’s better half denied the affirmation saying it was a “political intrigue” as the legal counselor had not been named by him.
Hours after Special Judge Poonam Chaudhry issued notification to prison administrator on the supplication of legal advisor A P Singh, Kumar’s significant other Ritu and his promoter Pradeep Rana dismisses the charges at a question and answer session. Kumar is in legal authority in Tihar Jail till September 23.
The court requested that the correctional facility director react by September 20 to Singh’s supplication which looked for heading to introduce CCTV cameras in prison and videograph the presence of the MLA under the watchful eye of the court, asserting there was danger to his life.
While the request did not specify anything about the ambush, Singh orally said he had met the official in prison and was informed that he was pummeled and tormented there.
Talking at a question and answer session at night, the official’s better half Ritu said she had met her significant other in prison early today and the affirmation that he was attacked wasn’t right and asserted that there was a “political trick” behind it.
She additionally said that neither she, nor Kumar had delegated Singh as his attorney.
Advocate Rana, who went with Ritu, said the application by the other legal counselor had been recorded in the court without a “vakalatnama” and when Kumar’s significant other met him in prison, the MLA had affirmed that he had not marked whatever other “vakalatnama” and that he was fine and there was no strike on him.
“Pass a request for partitioned prison van, introduce CCTV cameras in prison and videography at the season of appearance under the steady gaze of the court and wellbeing, security in prison from danger to life in the interest of candidate Sandeep Kumar, in light of a legitimate concern for equity for reasonable, expedient and fair-minded trial…,” the supplication documented by Singh said.
Kumar was captured on September 3 after a lady had drawn nearer Sultanpuri police headquarters in North Delhi whining of lewd behavior against the previous Social Welfare and Women and Child Development clergyman, taking after which a case was documented. The lady had figured in an offensive video with him.
