Delhi Police constable bounced before metro train, die
New Delhi, Aug 4: A Delhi Police constable purportedly dedicated suicide by hopping before a train at Patel Chowk Metro Station today.
Sanjay Prasad, who was posted at Communications Unit of the Delhi Police, hopped before a Samaypur Badli-bound metro train at around 2:20 PM. He was experiencing treatment for misery. A suicide note has been recouped from him, said DCP (Metro) Jitendra Mani.
Police were educated around 2:30 PM. A group hurried to the spot, sent the body for post-mortem examination and made preparatory enquiries.
The sickness of his child, who as of late had a noteworthy surgery at RML healing facility, was one reason for his melancholy. In the suicide he kept in touch with he was “drained”, police said.
Train administrations on the Yellow Line were “quickly” disturbed after the episode.
“We take after the consistent drill as justified in such circumstances and inside 15 minutes the operations were back to ordinary,” a senior officer of DMRC said.
