Patna, Aug 9: Rains brought truly necessary reprieve from the sultry climate conditions for individuals of the state capital today.
Light to direct precipitation happened at numerous spots in south focal Bihar and at a couple places in rest parts of the state aside from north east where light precipitation happened at maybe a couple puts just, MeT division said.
Overwhelming precipitation happened at maybe a couple places in south west and south focal Bihar in recent hours, it said.
Patna and Gaya recorded 14.2 mm and 10.0 mm of precipitation today individually while Bhagalpur and Purnea enlisted no precipitation, MeT office said.
Downpours brought the temperatures around few scores at both spots of Patna and Gaya which recorded a most extreme temperature of 32.9 degrees Celsius and 29.9 degrees Celsius, it said.
While Bhagalpur recorded the most elevated temperature among the real urban communities at 35.5 degrees Celsius, Purnea recorded 35.4 degrees Celsius.
