Govt distributes Rs 200 cr for Nirbhaya fund

New Delhi, Aug 10: Rs 200 crore has been apportioned by the focal government for the Nirbhaya Fund to give remuneration to ladies and kid casualties of sexual wrongdoings, Rajya Sabha was educated today.

Pastor of State for Home Hansraj Ahir said all states and union domains have informed casualty remuneration plan in their individual state and UT.

He said record of dispensing made by states and UTs under their casualty remuneration plan is not looked after halfway.

“Be that as it may, on July 6, 2016, the focal government has dispatched overhauled Central Victim Compensation Fund (CVCF) Scheme for ladies with one time award of Rs 200 crore under the Nirbhaya Fund to backing and supplement the current casualty remuneration plans informed by states and UT organizations,” he said answering to a composed inquiry.
