Leader of All World Gayatri Pariwar Pandya named to RS

New Delhi, May 4: Pranav Pandya, leader of All World Gayatri Pariwar, was today named to Rajya Sabha by the Modi government.

President Pranab Mukherjee named 65-year-old Pandya to the Upper House taking after a proposal of the focal government, a Home Ministry representative said here.

Pandya is the seventh persons named by the Modi government to the Rajya Sabha.

On April 22, the administration had designated Subramanian Swamy, Narendra Jadhav, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Suresh Gopi, Swapan Dasgupta and Mary Kom as the new Rajya Sabha individuals.

Mumbai-conceived Pandya, a MD in Medicine, is Director and leader of the All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP).

AWGP is asserted to be a present day selection of the age-old astuteness of Vedic Rishis who rehearsed and engendered the rationality of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam with its central command in Haridwar.
