Policeman captured for rape young lady at gun point

Osmanabad (Mah), Aug 6: A police sub-auditor from Osmanabad has been captured for purportedly assaulting a 16-year-old young lady at weapon point here, police said today.

Prem Sukhdev Bansode (26), in the blink of an eye posted at Vishrambaug police headquarters in Sangli area, was captured here toward the end of last night, Additional SP Deepali Ghadge said.

The casualty alongside her family was remaining focused at the blamed’s home here, where the episode occurred yesterday.

The young lady asserted that the policeman assaulted her at firearm point and undermined her and family from revealing the wrongdoing.

They then held up a grumbling at Anandnagar police headquarters here after which the PSI was captured.

Bansode has been reserved under Section 376 of IPC and segments of POCSO Act.
