Rail Neer trick: CBI documents extra bodies of evidence against three blamed
New Delhi, March.3: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday recorded extra arguments against the three individuals captured regarding the Rail Neer trick.
The CBI has recorded cases under IPC areas 120,489 © and 489 © and fake money act against Sandeep Silas, a 1984-bunch Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer, and M.S Chalia and Sharan Bihari Agrawal, proprietor of R K Associates included in the trick.
The two senior railroad authorities and the businessperson were captured in October a year ago for asserted debasement in supply of bundled drinking water other than the compulsory ‘Rail Neer’ in premium trains.
The CBI had before enrolled an argument against Chalia, Silas and seven privately owned businesses RK Associates Pvt Ltd, Satyam Caterers Pvt Ltd, Ambuj Hotel and Real Estate, PK Associates Pvt Ltd, Sunsine Pvt Ltd, Brandavan Food Product and Food World, under the procurements of Prevention of Corruption Act.
Prior, the CBI had recouped Rs. 20 crore in real money amid quests at 13 areas against two previous Northern Railways authorities and seven private firms regarding ‘Rail Neer’ trick.
