Screening of “Pink” held for Mumbai police

Mumbai, Sep 21: In an offer to sharpen police staff on sexual orientation brutality and different issues tormenting ladies, film maker Rashmi Sharma alongside National Award winning movie producer Vibha Bakshi held a unique screening of “Pink” for the Mumbai cops.

The unique screening, that was hung on September 19, was gone to by top authorities, including Mumbai Police chief Dattatray Padsalgikar, alongside their families.

“My intention of taking up with “Pink” was to pass on a solid message to the general public. With all the treachery happening with ladies, it is critical to make individuals understand their mankind and obligation towards each person and raise a voice against sexual orientation segregation,” Sharma said in an announcement issued here today.

“After this screening, we are certain that the Mumbai Police will remain nearby us to spread the message of ‘no methods no’,” she included.

Bakshi, chief and maker of the National Award winning film “Little girls of Mother India” which likewise manages the issue of sexual orientation brutality said, “movies like “Pink” are an effective medium to realize change and we require all the more such fire energy to meet up.
