Sonia’s condition enhances, Azad pays visit

New Delhi, Aug 7: Congress boss Sonia Gandhi’s condition has enhanced and she proceeded with more activities today, as indicated by the clinic where she experienced a surgery to her left side shoulder four days back.

She is recovering admirably and her condition stays “stable”, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital said in its most recent medicinal notice here.

“Mrs Sonia Gandhi who has been conceded at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, is gaining relentless ground and her condition stays stable,” as indicated by the announcement issued by Dr D S Rana, Chairman (Board of Management) of the healing center.

Her shoulder condition has enhanced and specialists have prompted her to proceed with strolling and working out, particularly for the shoulder, a source said.

Dr Prateek Gupta, Orthopedic Consultant from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Dr Sanjay Desai from Mumbai, who worked on Gandhi for a shoulder damage, had said yesterday that they were content with her advancement.

She had strolled and did a few activities yesterday.

Senior Congress pioneer Ghulam Nabi Azad went to her this evening, the source said.

69-year-old Gandhi was moved to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Wednesday from the Army Research and Referral Hospital, where she was surged not long after her entry from Varanasi around midnight on Tuesday.

She needed to stop her roadshow in Varanasi after she became sick. She had broken her exited shoulder amid the roadshow.

The Congress president was moved out of the ICU on Thursday.

Sources said Gandhi is liable to stay at the healing center for no less than several more days.
