Stone pelters in Kashmir target regular citizens; lady dead, 2 harmed
Srinagar, Sep 27: A lady was today left dead and two people were harmed as stone pelters focused on vehicles which wandered out opposing the diktat of separatists.
Two sisters, Fozia (20) and Nadia (18), were hit by a SUV (sports utility vehicle) that was turning around after it went under stone pelting close Rogan Gali at Parimpora territory here, a police representative said.
“The two were fundamentally harmed in the episode. Both were moved to doctor’s facility where the senior sister succumbed to wounds,” he said.
The stone pelters obviously focused on the SUV as they thought it was an official vehicle.
The representative said a case has been enlisted and examination started into the episode.
In the interim, one individual was harmed when stone pelters assaulted him as he was riding a scooty close Aalie Masjid in Safa Kadal range.
“Furqan Hamid endured a harm in his mind and has been moved to SKIMS Soura for treatment. His condition is steady,” the representative included.
Kashmir has been hit by distress since the killing of Hizbul activist Burhan Wani, with separatists calling for bandh and approaching individuals to stay inside aside from couple of hours of unwinding at night.
