Three Indian fishers captured for angling in Lankan waters

Colombo, June 16 : The Sri Lankan Coast Guard with help from the Navy on Thursday captured three Indian anglers for supposedly crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) and angling in Lankan waters.

The three Indian anglers were captured alongside an angling trawler while angling in northwest of Delft Island in the morning, reports Colombo Page.

The captured anglers alongside the angling trawler will be given over to the Jaffna Fisheries Inspector for further activity.
