Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed Friday a missile strike on a British oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden, setting the vessel on fire, their latest attack on shipping.
Yemeni naval forces attacked the tanker, the Marlin Luanda, said the Iran-backed group’s military spokesman Yahya Saree.
“The strike was direct, and resulted (in) the burning of the vessel,” he added.
