Arvind Kejriwal Challenges Arrest In High Court, Seeks Immediate Release

Terming his arrest and the remand order sending him to the Enforcement Directorate’s custody illegal, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approached the high court and sought his immediate release. 

The AAP chief was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday in connection with a money laundering case pertaining to the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam. The agency was granted seven-day custody by the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi on Friday.
